Michael Kelly is Co-Founder and CPO of Open Forest Protocol. With a background in economic history and mechanism design he brings over 6 years of experience working on token design, blockchain-based products, and early stage community building.
Prior to launching Open Forest, Michael served as the Co-Chair of the Supply Chain Working Group at INATBA, Co-Founded a small ecosystem investment fund known as Lyrik Ventures, and helped recruit and develop the early community in the NEAR Ecosystem.
His early work at the intersection of blockchains and forests involved a collaboration with the Center For International Forestry Research in developing a high level proof of concept of how to digitize reforestation efforts.
