Cheryl Dahle is an entrepreneur and journalist who works at the intersection of design and systems change.
She is co-founder and CEO of Flip Labs, a systems change design firm. The company’s approach is based on Dahle's work tackling the global problem of overfishing through Future of Fish, a nonprofit she founded and led for seven years. As an incubator for systems shifts, FoF helped drive substantial shifts in the seafood supply chain behavior to help end overfishing and to make sustainable seafood an accessible choice for millions of consumers.
The initiative was one of two national finalists in the 2012 Buckminster Fuller Challenge, which recognizes insightful system approaches to complex problems.
Dahle currently works with Solutions Journalism Network as a Climate Initiative Manager, through which she helps train journalists to apply a systemic land solutions-focused ens to writing about the climate crisis.
